A Reaching Church.
A man once asked Jesus a simple question, “Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22:36-39) HCSB
The answer to that question is what motivates us at Holly Hill Baptist Church. As we delve into God’s Holy Word each week, we learn what it means to truly love God and be loved by Him. Our passion for that special relationship compels us to truly love people in the same way that God loves us.
It is that kind of love that calls us to be a “Reaching Church.” We are a body of believers who are continually reaching up to God in praise and worship (John 4:23), reaching out to the world to evangelize the lost (Matthew 28:19-20), and reaching in to equip the believers for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12).
As we gather together for worship, prayer, teaching, preaching, fellowship, and sometimes food, we invite you to join with us as we worship Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, and reach out in love to God and people.
